Tasting notes

This 2015 vintage presents itself in a very pale gold dress, of crystalline purity, sublimated by an effervescence of rare delicacy. Each bubble seems to dance with infinite grace, enhancing the natural elegance of this exceptional Champagne.

To the eye

On the nose

A nose of great complexity, all in finesse, reveals subtle nuances of dried fruits. A light toasted character stands out in the background, promising to assert itself elegantly over time.

The palate is large, supported by a perfectly melted acidity which gives the whole a remarkable finesse. This harmony gives the whole a great finesse, leaving a silky and perfectly balanced sensation offering a taste experience of rare elegance.

About

Exclusively composed of white grapes from the Côte des Blancs (Vertus, Voipreux, etc.), with 20 to 30% of reserve wines.

Harvests combining the maturity of our hillside plots with the acidity of the grapes from the Vertus plain, characteristics required to produce a great Champagne.

Systematic malolactic fermentation.

Limited dosage to its lowest expression.

Total acidity: 4.30g./l.

Alcohol content: 13°.

Pairing suggestion 

With a fillet of turbot poached in citrus and white butter, the melted acidity and finesse of the 2015 vintage reveal all their elegance. The delicacy of the fish and the subtle richness of the sauce find a perfect balance, leaving a harmonious finish in the mouth.
